Ron Scholes (M.Ed., Adv.Dip.Ed., Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.), Chartered Geographer (C.Geog.)) is an author, lecturer and travel writer. He has made numerous radio broadcasts over many years for BBC Radio Stoke. He enjoys choral singing. His four-part poem 'The Dales', was set to music by composer Michael Lambert, and has been performed at public concerts.
